SHAMBALA CENTER PHILOSOPHY
“OUR RELIGION IS PEACE”
Serlingpa
Center located in Shambala Ranch functions as an “Ecumenical Center”. This is an
accessible place for any kind of group events, specially spiritual and/or of
human development under the philosophical base of enhancing tolerance and
respect among the different forms of belief.
From small to
big, individuals, families, societies, institutions and nations, all thorough
history have rejected, judged and even killed all those who do not share their
own form of thinking or belief.
In an attempt
of sawing a seed to world peace, Serlingpa Center’s contribution is offering a
space in which all religions, beliefs and group tendencies can coincide in
harmony, tolerance and mutual respect.
Many
religions and philosophies mention loving others as a basic fundament of their
goals. But very few individuals in the world take it into real practice in their
daily living. Religious preferences generate adversities among individuals,
separate families and end up in blood shade in a small or large scale.
To love
others does not really mean just those for whom you have sympathy and who think
in the same way you do, but it is also those who think different to us, who
dresses different, who prays different and lives with different costumes and
style. The real Love to Others starts with respect and tolerance to the
differences we all have with one another.
Serlingpa
Center invites you, wherever you are, to take to practice what your own religion
should have taught you since birth, the basis of loving one another.
For this
reason, Serlingpa has in it’s interior representative forms of different
religions, of sacred mountains and holy places in the whole world as a wish to
see humanity gathered within their diversity.
Serlingpa
Center invites people to love and respect oneself, others, and specially nature
and the planet itself as the home that sustains us. It brings a space for groups
that can realize their activities learning to respect the ecology, and admiring
nature, thus elevating more the love in their hearts since Love starts with
Respect. Respect to oneself, to the human race and all living creatures.
Every person
that succeeds in developing within themselves a kind and loving Heart plants
another seed on the mayor purpose of Serlingpa Center:
World Peace
